Comment from Saint Columbanus (6th March 2021)

Blessed Carlo Acutis inspires me because when he was suffering with leukaemia, the doctor asked him if he was in much pain, he said that there were people that were suffering more than himself. Blessed Carlo Acutis was very selfless and put others before himself.

Comment from St Columbanus (Feb 24th 2021)

Blessed Carlo Acutis inspires me because when he was sick with leukemia, he offered his pain for Pope Benedict XVI and the Catholic Church. Carlo said “I offer all the suffering I will have to suffer for the Lord, for the Pope, and the Church.”

Comment from Venerable Edel Quinn (Feb 24th 2021)

Blessed Carlo Acutis inspires me because during his life, Carlo touched thouands of hearts with his testimony of faith and deep devotion to the Holy Eucharist.

Comment from Venerable Edel Quinn (Feb 4th 2021)

Blessed Carlo Acutis inspires me because he spent a lot of time doing good things for others in his life. Blessed Carlo Acutis would restrict himself to one hour a week playing computer games, the rest of his time, Blessed Carlo Acutis helped children who were unhappy at home, defended the disabled, visited the elderly and served the poor. This shows me how Blessed Carlo Acutis wasn’t reliant on computer games to pass the time, he used his time wisely and helped others.

Comment from St Gobnait (Dec 16th 2020)

Blessed Carlo Acutis inspires me because he used his talent for computer programming to spread information about Eucharistic Miracles. He shows everyone that it is important to use our talents for God.

Comment from Venerable Edel Quinn (Dec 16th 2020)

Blessed Carlo Acutis inspires me because he had a great devotion for the Blessed Mother, according to Carlo Acutis, the Blessed Mother was the only woman in his life.

Comment from Saint…… (name not provided) (Dec 13th 2020)

Blessed Carlo Acutis inspires me because he devoted his entire life to loving God and others. He was courageous in the face of death and even when he was dying, when a nurse asked would she wake his mother, he replied to let her rest as “she will only worry even more.” His unselfishness is inspiring and it encourages us to think of others.

Comment from Saint Colmcille (Thurs 10th Dec 2020)

Blessed Carlo Acutis inspires me because when he died his family couldn’t have children. But soon after his mother had a dream from him telling her that she would have children. She gave birth to twins soon after.
[Note from Fr Eamon: Thanks, St Colmcille. Yes, the twins were born on the same date that Blessed Carlo died, 12th Oct; he died on this date in 2006 and they were born on this date in 2010; some people see this as a sign from heaven.]

Comment from Saint Kevin (Wed 9th Dec 2020):

Blessed Carlo Acutis inspires me because he was so ordinary and so holy all at once. I read this line on Page 15 of the book “Friends in High Places (The Boy who knew)”. I think that this is a good aim for someone in life – to be ordinary and natural and yet holy at the same time.
